Ethos Technologies is a European IT consultancy company incorporated in northern Europe (Sweden and Norway) about 10 years ago. Since 2005, we began to expand our business in offshore IT outsourcing area and setup a development center in Beijing. Ethos is currently a leading outsourcing company in Northen-Europe market. We are REAL international company: our branches are in 4 different countires, employees have been living in 9 different countires, clients are from more than 7 countries. The business in China focuses on ITO (IT outsourcing), application Development,ODC (offshore development center), BPO and other IT services from China to western clients. We break down outsourcing tasks into several parts as 1. knowledge transfer, 2. analysis, 3. design, 4. development, 5. testing and 6. deliver. 1 and 6 will be onshore, other parts will be offshore. As a result, our tasks implemented in China covers not only development and testing but also analysis and design. This is much better than outsourcing to Japan which is only about partly development and testing and thus make staff feel boring after several months.
